I design brand and product together — because they're the same promise.
Brand tells your users what to expect. Product delivers on it. When they line up, people trust you. When they don't, people know. Twenty years of making sure they line up.
Product designer, Brand designer, UX designer — those describe outputs, not how I think. I think in systems and questions. My default filter for what ships: does this either generate money or make the platform more self-service? If neither, it better have a good reason.
Most of that time in-house at startups. I come in to build for scale and leave when they're ready to grow big. Adyen before it was Europe's biggest fintech. Teero from zero to every US state in three years.
Even in my free time I'm designing experiences. When I'm home, they're flavour experiences — my favourite is experimenting with ice cream. When I'm not, I'm creating them with my family: traveling and camping. Started on a motorcycle. These days it's a campervan.
